The PADI Rescue Diver program develops your knowledge and skills so you can effectively perform diver assists and rescues, manage diving accident situations and render first aid.

The program is an important step in expanding your knowledge and experience as a diver.

PADI Rescue Diver (or equivalent) certification is also a prerequisite for all PADI leadership programs. To get into the PADI Rescue Diver program, you’ll need to be certified as a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or Advanced Plus (or equivalent) and must be at least 15 years old.

The PADI Junior Rescue Diver program is available if you’re between the ages of 12 and 14 and hold a PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver or Advanced Plus (or equivalent) rating.

You’ll also need to have successfully completed the PADI MEDIC FIRST AID program or a sanctioned program in CPR within the past two years.

The PADI Rescue Diver program covers:

Self-rescue and diver stress
Diving first aid
Emergency management and equipment considerations
Swimming and non-swimming assists
Panicked diver response
Underwater problems

Missing diver procedures
Surfacing the unconscious diver
In-water artificial respiration
Egress (exits)
First aid procedures for pressure related accidents
Dive accident scenarios

Reminder:
- Do note that the accommodations in Tioman are simple and basic.
- Quad sharing means that 2 people will share 1 Queen-sized bed.
- There will be 2 Queen-sized beds in one room.
- If you are traveling alone, we cannot guarantee who you will be sleeping next to.
- Dive equipment rental excludes torch. Rental of torch at an extra S$10/dive.
- 1 evening Tuesday at 7pm for zoom theory and 1 Thursday 6pm for pool session at Changi Sailing Club before Tioman trip.

1800 Hrs	Coach departs from Kallang Leisure Mall
2300 Hrs	Arrival @ Mersing and depart for Tioman
0200 Hrs	Arrival at Tioman and check in

Day 2

0800 Hrs	Breakfast
0900 Hrs	3 boat dives with lunch back at the Resort.
1930 Hrs	Night Dive & Dinner.

Day 3

0700 Hrs	Breakfast
0800 Hrs	Depart for 2 dives lunch back at resort
1400 Hrs	Depart for Mersing
1700 Hrs	Arrival Mersing / Dinner on your own
2200 Hrs	Arrival Singapore

PADI Rescue Diver Course Singapore Water – S$850

1 evening theory session via Zoom on Tuesday.
1 pool session on Thursday 6pm at Changi Sailing Club.
1 Hantu trip for training dives on weekends
E Manual & certification.

Beautiful, attractive and also wonderful because of its situation at the “Lagendary Tioman Island” where the greenery is always fresh, the sky blue seawater which appears silvery and shimmering, the coral reefs below where the fish could be found swimming and playing around, the waves producing rthyms which comfort the heart and minds of tourists and the white sandy beaches which appear like the mist grimmerring under the morning sun rays.

All of these topics are covered in the PADI Rescue Diver Manual and Rescue Diver video. After successfully completing the program, you’ll receive the internationally recognized PADI Rescue Diver certification card.
