Now is the time to dive into the PADI Open Water Diver course, the most popular dive program in the world! This is your ticket to a lifetime of intense adventure with PADI, throughout the course, you’ll learn fundamentals of scuba diving, including dive equipment and techniques. You will also earn a PADI Open Water Diver certification that is recognised world-wide. You earn this rating by completing five pool dives and knowledge development sessions and by making four open water (ocean or lake) dives.

As a certified PADI Open Water Diver you have the freedom to dive with a buddy independent of a professional. If you already tried a PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience or are PADI Scuba Diver certified, check with your instructor to see how credit from these courses may apply to the open water program. Your underwater adventure can begin as soon as today with the new PADI Open Water Diver Video and interactive CD-ROM! You can view these materials at home, at your own pace and then meet with an instructor for further assistance. Open water learning options also include group or private instruction. This course offers tremendous flexibility and lets you work out individual needs with your instructor.

Virtually anyone who is in good health (padi-medical-forms.pdf), reasonably fit, and comfortable in the water can earn a PADI Open Water Diver certification. At some point in the course, your PADI Instructor will ask you to demonstrate the ability to swim 200 metres/yards without swim aids or 300 metres/yards with mask, fins and snorkel and complete a bit of paperwork, to get you on your way. If you are between 10 and 14 or have a child between these ages, there is a PADI Junior Open Water Diver program available.

PADI Openwater Dive Course Singapore Waters S$440Course Programme: Nov to Feb.

2 Theory Sessions done every Monday & Tuesday evenings from 1900 hrs at our shop. You may also opt for the home study programme if you cannot make it for the theory sessions. You will also receive a log book, dive table, certification and manual. Dive equipment usage included. Purchases are also available at our shop. Departure for the dives will be from the Republic Of Singaporer Yacht Club next to West Coast Pier. Pool session on Wed 1830hrs at Outram Secondary School.Example of skills to be practised basic snorkel skills

  • Mask & snorkel clearing
  • Regulator clearing & retrieval
  • Weight belt ditching
  • Oral inflation of BCD

Open water dives - 4 dives to be logged over 2 Sundays at Southern Islands of Singapore.

PADI Openwater Dive Course Tioman Package S$590.
   

Package will include : Feb to Nov Weekly.

  • 2 nights stay & 5 meals in Tioman.
  • 2 way transfers (Sin / Tio / Sin) by coach & ferry.
  • All rooms are airconditioned with attached bathroom & hot shower, based on quad.
  • For twin & single sharing rooms, please add S$40 & S$80 to package price.

Pool Session at Outram Secondary School at 1830 hrs on Wednesday.

Programme for Tioman trip weekend 2d/2n Friday evening departure.

Day 1
1900 hrs - coach departs from 248 River Valley Road.
2330 hrs - arrival Mersing & depart for Tioman.
0200 hrs - arrival Tioman & check in to chalets.

Day 2
0800 hrs - rise & shine, breakfast.
0900 hrs - dive #1.
1200 hrs - lunch at the resort.
1400 hrs - dive #2
1930 hrs - dinner & theory test!

Day 3
0800 hrs - rise & shine , breakfast.
0900 hrs - dive #3 & #4.
1400 hrs - lunch at the resort.
1430 hrs - dive boat departs for Mersing.
1700 hrs - dinner in Mersing (own expence).
1800 hrs - coach departs & arrives Singapore by 2200 hrs.
